Mozart Week has been a European cultural concert highlight for over 50 years, this time taking place on the 22nd to the 31st January 2010. As a CASA* visitor you are entitled to a 10% discount on tickets for the following concerts: |
- The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin on Saturday, 30th January at 7.30 pm in the great festival hall. The musical programme features Mozart’s Requiem, "Lieder der Schwermut und der Trauer" by György Kurtág. Soloists: Dorothea Röschmann (soprano), Birgit Remmert (alto), Michael Schade (tenor), Franz-Josef Selig (bass).
- Chamber concert on Saturday, 30th January at 11 am in the main hall at the ‘Stiftung Mozarteum’, featuring Leif Ove Andsnes (piano), Jörg Widmann (clarinet), Antje Weithaas (violin), Kim Kashkashian (viola) and Nicolas Altstaedt (cello). The programme includes the works of Mozart and György Kurtág.
